PHI encourages its Members to network with the following organizations on issues related to disability.

The National Council on Disability (NCD) On January 15, 2008, the National Council on Disability (NCD) issued National Disability Policy: A Progress Report, which examines employment, housing, education, transportation and other federal policies that affect people with disabilities. AAPD and Justice For All Email Network. American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) is the largest nonprofit cross-disability member organization in the USA, dedicated to ensuring economic self-sufficiency and political empowerment for the more than 56 million Americans with disabilities. AAPD works in coalition with other disability organizations for the full implementation and enforcement of disability nondiscrimination laws, particularly the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. www.jfanow.org
